From Asheville: Take I-40 West to Exit 27 onto highways 19/23/74 toward Waynesville. Continue for approximately 25 miles past Sylva and Western Carolina University. Take Exit 81 toward Franklin and Atlanta.  Follow US-64 to Hayesville. At the second traffic light, turn left onto NC-69. Continue to the T-intersection and turn left onto US-76. The resort is 0.2 miles on the left.  The Red Banks Room is adjacent to The Oaks restaurant, but has its own entrance on the lake side.

From Atlanta: Take I-75 North to Exit #268 onto I-575 North toward Canton.  I-575 North becomes Zell Miller Mountain Pkwy (GA-515).  Follow GA-515 North/US-76 East for approximately 100 miles.  Stay on US-76 East through Young Harris city center.  Continue to follow US-76 East for 3.4 miles.  Go straight through the traffic light at GA-17. The resort is 0.2 miles on the left.  The Red Banks Room is adjacent to The Oaks restaurant, but has its own entrance on the lake side.
