Although the primary purpose of the Holman Water Quality Stewardship Award Banquet is to celebrate the relatively good water quality still being measured in the Hiwassee River and its tributaries and to honor the person or group that has done the most over the past year to protect it, the event is also a fundraiser designed to continue building an endowment that will secure the future of the Hiwassee River Watershed Coalition over the long term. NOTE: The final deadline for ad recognition in the banquet program is February 24, 2010. A final listing of all sponsors will be prepared to include commitments received after the deadline and will be distributed at the event.
