Event Planning/Fundraising Committee
The Event

Wine Tasting, Holman Banquet), as well as program meetings and
volunteer gatherings. Members may help prepare refreshments,
make arrangements for music, assist with event set-up and
clean-up, and recruit volunteers for various duties during
events. Committee members will set their own meeting schedule;
however, quarterly meetings are likely in order to assist with
three major fundraising events and for organizational planning.

Grants Committee

and pursuing grant opportunities. Members may canvas the
internet searching for available grant opportunities, meet with
HRWC staff and members of various committees to plan grant
applications, and/or assist with grant writing. Much of this
committee’s work could be accomplished independently with
coordination via telephone and/or email.
