This birding outing was led by long-time HRWC board member and Young Harris College professor, Brenda Hull.  Participants met at Mary's Southern Grill in Young Harris and carpooled to various sites around Lake Chatuge.  We looked for birds migrating through our area, as well as ones that are residents at this time of year! The event was free and lasted about two and a half hours.  Upon return, a breakfast at Mary's was shared.

Outing leader, Brenda Hull teaches courses in Biology, Ecology, Zoology, and Field Studies at Young Harris College where she is in her fifteenth year.  Her primary professional interests lie in the field of ecology, ethology and ornithology.  She is an avid birder and strong supporter of HRWC's efforts!
